How does sexism continuously shape the university context? Which gender equality efforts are effectively creating change at universities? And how can we ensure that the #MeToo movement’s achievements lead to long-term transformation?


Speakers:
1. Dr. Ea Utoft, Assist. prof., Radboud University

Ea Høg Utoft has a PhD from Aarhus University, she is now an assistant professor of Gender & Diversity Studies at Radboud University in the Netherlands. Her background is feminist organization studies, and her work is principally focused on inequalities in the academic setting. Utoft’s published work concerns different manifestations of inequalities for different groups of academics.

2. Dr. Anke Lipinsky, Senior Researcher, GESIS (Why universities need to improve their responses to Gender-based Violence in Academia)

Dr. Anke Lipinsky is a senior researcher at GESIS-Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, CEWS team. She is PI of the quantitative survey of UniSAFE. Her research focuses on equality and gender relations in academia, including gender-based violence, evaluation and research methods. She participated in several EC expert groups and EU-funded projects e.g. INSPIRE, UniSAFE, GEECCO, GenPORT.
